[Sun] Apr 19 - Operation: Broken Arrow

Post2015-03-23 / 17:23 UTC GMT +00:00

Reposting this here, for those of you that haven't been tricked into using The Facebook. You are all far wiser than I. We'll do our darndest to post updates and such here, in addition to the other locations. Hope to see the LMAG crews back, you guys are serious heavy-hitters.

Well, Boys and Girls, it’s that special time again. OmegaOps is proud to announce our next game is on the calendar! Operation: Broken Arrow is coming, April 19; mark it down. We think it is going to be explosive. Some might even say… nuclear?

We’ve taken the last couple of months to put our thoughts down on where we can improve on the last one, and really deliver a top-notch experience. We’ve eliminated some of the elements that made it harder on us to administrate, and took time away from what we really wanted do; give you, the Player, a more story and objective driven experience.
So here’s the deal. This time around it’s not just a straight up land-grab. Sure, you can go after those flags – you’ll need them to spawn and crack some skulls. But remember our bricks of gold? They’re back. My god, are they back. And they’ve brought friends. You’ll want to pick them up as they play a much larger role than before. Don’t worry, Faust isn’t allowed to hide them, this time around.

Speaking of friends, those of you that attended Iceback 2014, and stopped by FOB 3, will remember our other large, cylindrical friend. He will be making an appearance as well, and play an integral part of the story.

The set-up will be much like last time, but we’re gonna open the gates, and registration, a little earlier this time around, to try and clear those long lines and get this shindig going, soon as we can. Once again, a couple of requests:

1.) Bring Cash! It speeds the payment portion of your journey, and makes the other airsofters happier.
2.) Bring an EMPTY magazine to chrono! It makes the Admins happy, and makes things slightly quicker, and safer.
3.) Invite your friends to like the OmegaOps page, so we can get updates on the game out to people faster and easier.

We’ll do our best to post up to as many places as we can, but share the event with everyone you know. The more people that know about it, the more that show up. And you know what that means: Target Rich Environment.

Check out our event info at:
http://www.omegaops.net/operation-broken-arrow.html

As always, stay tuned for intermittent updates as we get closer to the date. And sign up on our event page!

In fo sho!! . Sound off LMAG, lets hear what team appeals to you. I think RED will be more aggressive while BLUE looks a little more defensive.

In. Possibly plus one. Wolver!ne (ASC Age Verifier, Okanagan Region) is going to try and make it as well.

Well

As in most cases there is someone in the crowd that screws it for everyone.

Cook-off it can't be that much of a surprise to you as we as admins have talked about the day that P* will come under scrutiny because of the versatility of the P* and its ability to change on the fly. Even though you play with honor there has been players that have been asked not to plan anymore over the last year and they just happen to play with P*.
I'm not sure if the P*'s have anything to do with it.

Cook-off you know we talked about nipping this in the BUTT before P* players and for that matter, Players with high ROF., get into trouble with the general playing community, but if we don't have a place to set a baseline (Club Structure) it then will just pop up and some people will be painted with the same bush so to speak.

In all fairness to Omega Ops they are well organized when they run MilSims and Chrono'ed guns are mandatory, not like others.
